SALIENT FEATURES OF OUR BUTTERFLY VALVES
Resilient seated Butterfly vales, bi-directional.
Can direct mount actuators, gear operators.
One-piece stem supports the disc across the entire length. Disc + Stem engagement by a precision machined double “D”. Positive engagement for disc rotation. No shearing of taper pins.
“Primary Sealing” achieved by precision radius machined on the disc hub, pressing into the seat, “Secondary Sealing” by two molded “O” rings in the seat journal, compressing against the valve stem. “Tertiary Sealing” achieved by the bi-directional double “U” cup seal at the stem top. Positive sealing against fugitive emissions and vacuum applications.
Rigid-backed elastomer seat easily field-replacable, heavy-duty square grooved design ensures rigid locking of seat in body, prevents seat movement Replaceable seat, bringing down maintenance costs.
Unique stem retention design facilitates the “easiest” assembly and disassembly of valve on site for maintenance purposes. No damage to disc, seat or stem, as in other stem retention designs, “Blow-out proof” design to ensure no accidental stem push-out takes place under pressure.
Available with a variety of pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuation.
